Priests light fires, and a colorful ritual begins, paying homage to Shiva, Mother Ganga, the Sun, Fire, and the entire world. Thousands of people around recite prayers, music fills the air, and lit candles and floating flowers create a magical atmosphere. In these moments, when the heart stops, time seems to stand still, immersing us in the magic of millennia-old history.
