PROGRAM

Day 1: Delhi 

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel for early check-in in Delhi, considered the first night stay. On this day, we embark on an exciting introduction to the city.

  • Akshardham Temple: The most majestic Hindu temple in the world, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for its impressive scale, luxury, and beauty.

  • Gurudwara Bangla Sahib: The largest Sikh temple in Delhi, impressive with its entirely marble main building adorned with golden domes.

  • Lakshmi Narayan Temple: One of the most sacred pilgrimage sites.

  • The fascinating Lotus Temple (Temple of All Religions).

  • Agresen ki Baoli, a 14th-century stepwell.

  • Visit the Dhobi Ghat laundry for a unique experience of traditional laundry.

There will also be a panoramic tour covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid, a stroll through Old Delhi, Thieves' Market, Parliament House, India Gate, and the Presidential Palace. Optionally, you can ride a rickshaw through the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk for a truly unique experience, immersing yourself in the lives of the local residents.

Day 2: Delhi - Kochi

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi Airport, and flight to Kochi. Upon arrival at Kochi airport, meet and transfer to the hotel for a short rest.

Embark on a sightseeing tour of Kochi. Kochi, or Cochin, is a major port city in southern India, located in the state of Kerala. It is known for its unique cultural and historical attractions, including ancient churches, temples, palaces, and Chinese fishing nets.

  • Chinese Fishing Nets: A unique part of the city's cultural heritage, these fishing nets attract many tourists eager to witness their operation and take photographs.

  • St. Francis Church: One of the significant historical monuments in Kochi, it is the oldest European church in India, built by the Portuguese in the early 16th century. Vasco da Gama, the great explorer, was originally buried here in 1526 before his remains were later taken to Portugal.

  • Walk through the Portuguese Quarter: One of the oldest and most well-known quarters in the city, located in the Mattancherry area. It is the center of Portuguese culture and history in the city, featuring many historic buildings.

Day 3: Kochi - Munnar

After breakfast, we will proceed with a road trip to the city of Munnar. Along the way from Kochi to Munnar, we will make stops. The journey into the mountains offers picturesque views, waterfalls, and lush landscapes, making the trip truly captivating. Kerala, where Kochi and Munnar are located, is renowned for its tea plantations and beautiful scenery.

Day 4: Munnar

After breakfast, we will go on an excursion, visiting an ancient English tea processing factory where you can witness the tea leaf processing. Munnar is renowned for its tea plantations, and tours often include visits to these estates.

Mattupetty Dam, the main attraction at Mattupetty, features a dam and lake. One of the highlights is boating on this lake.

Day 5: Munnar - Thekkady

After breakfast, we will head to the town of Thekkady, enjoying beautiful views along the way with stops for photography. In the evening, we will attend Kerala's traditional dance, Kathakali - a classical dance drama originating from the state of Kerala with a history of almost 300 years. The dance narrates stories from the past, depicting epics, legends, and myths. Additionally, we will witness the martial art form, Kalaripayattu.

Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 6: Thekkady

Early in the morning, we will head to Periyar National Park for a boat safari along the Periyar River. In the natural beauty of Thekkady's national park, you can encounter various forms of wildlife. A popular way to explore the park is through a boat safari along the Periyar River. During the safari, you may spot various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, macaques, and numerous bird species.

After the safari, we will return to the hotel for breakfast.

Following a brief rest, we will visit a spice plantation. The plantations in Thekkady cultivate arabica coffee, tea, and various spices. Visitors can take a tour of the plantations, learn about the cultivation and production of spices, and purchase fresh spices.

Day 7: Thekkady - Alleppey

After breakfast, we will proceed to the city of Alleppey (Alappuzha), renowned for its canals and houseboats. Houseboats are boat houses stylized as bamboo huts, equipped with all amenities, allowing travelers to cruise through serene backwaters and canals.

Day 8: Alleppey - Kovalam

After breakfast, we will drive to Kovalam (4-5 hours). Enjoy 3 days (or more, as desired) of beach relaxation.

The program of the first and last day may be changed depending on your arrival and departure flights. 

The program can also be adapted according to your wishes.

 

Nutrition

Our gastronomic adventures begin with breakfast at hotels. Lunches and dinners are your chance to discover local flavors, available at an additional cost.

 

Comfortable Transfers

Travel will be as comfortable as luxury hotels, with transfers in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. Depending on the size of the group, sedans, minivans, minibuses or buses are used, including Volvo buses for larger groups.
