PROGRAM

Day 1: Delhi

Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel for early check-in in Delhi, considered as the first night. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of this bustling metropolis, home to twenty million people, divided into the dynamic areas of New and Old Delhi. New Delhi, adorned with key administrative structures, is the residence of the local elite. Meanwhile, in Old Delhi, life pulsates to the rhythm of multimillion-dollar jungles and medieval exoticism. Picture narrow winding streets, modest dwellings against the backdrop of modern skyscrapers, and spacious boulevards—a city of vibrant contrasts! We'll start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Then we'll explore the most charming and famous places in this captivating city:

  • Akshardham Temple – the most majestic Hindu temple in the world, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for its impressive scale, luxury, and beauty;

  • Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – Delhi's largest Sikh temple, featuring a stunning main building entirely made of marble and adorned with golden domes;

  • Laxminarayan Temple – one of the holiest pilgrimage sites, attracting devotees from all over the country;

  • the incredibly captivating Lotus Temple (Temple of All Religions) and the Dhobi Ghat laundry.

  • Additionally, a visit to the 14th-century Agresen ki Baoli: descending 104 steps, we'll see the oldest surviving place in the city. Later in the day, we'll have an informative tour of the streets of Delhi: Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Old Town, Thieves Market, Parliament House, Indian Gate, and the Presidential Palace. Every step in Delhi unveils its historical fabric, revealing the rich heritage and cultural treasures that make this city truly exceptional. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Agra

After the delightful breakfast, we will embark on a journey to the enchanting Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece created by Shah Jahan, one of the powerful Great Mughals. Built in the 17th century, this monument was erected by the monarch in memory of his departed wife. Conceived as a symbol of his beloved's fairy-tale beauty, the Taj Mahal truly stands as the "pearl of Mughal architecture." Magnificent, divine, luminous, and despite its grandeur, remarkably ephemeral, the Taj Mahal was meticulously crafted over 22 years by the hands of more than 20,000 craftsmen!

Later in the day, immerse yourself in the ancient history of the Red Fort in Agra. It narrates the fates of three generations of Great Mughals—tales of fierce battles, heart-wrenching love, struggles for power, and the fall of a great empire. Built of red sandstone and white marble, it is located on the banks of the Yamuna River just 2.5 km from the Taj Mahal. The gleaming white marble palaces, adorned with precious stones and gold, tell a rich history.

And, of course, a visit to the first marble construction of the Mughals: the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, better known as the Baby Taj Mahal.

As the evening descends, participate in an exhilarating theatrical performance, a spectacle narrating the creation of the Taj Mahal through traditional songs and dances, if you wish to indulge in this unique experience.

Overnight stay in Agra.
